Lyle was born on October 13, 1939 in LeMars, IA., a son of Donald and Leona Tuovinen Becker. He married Beverly Crawford on June 16, 1959, in Baker Montana and she survives of Bement, IL. Surviving children are: Daniel (Debbie Alexander) Becker of Sherman, IL., Kirk Becker of Lincoln, IL., and Kristi Roth of Bement, IL. He is survived by 7 grandchildren: Hilary (Conner), Aaron, Tori, Chase, Quinton, Addison and Avery, as well as great-granddaughter: Charlotte. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother: Clyde Becker.
Lyle eventually made his home in Bement, IL., with his wife, Beverly, and his two sons, Kirk and Daniel. More than a few years later his daughter, Kristi, was born. Soon after that, he built his business, Becker Truck Lane, where he worked as a mechanic, testing farm trucks. He loved spending time with his family (especially his grandchildren) and visiting his many great friends.
As a pilot, he had a passion for flying, and as a South Dakota native, he loved a good rodeo and often attended the National Finals in Las Vegas with his wife and friends. He was a generous man who found the good in everyone, and he would do anything for the people that were lucky enough to be cared for and loved by him. He will be greatly missed.
