Agatha Mattingly

Agatha I. Mattingly, 88 of Bement, IL., passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 2:15 P.M., at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Bement Township Cemetery, Bement, Illinois. Pastor Pat Tieman will officiate.

Agatha was born on November 29, 1935, in Casey County, Kentucky, a daughter of Swanson and Christine Taylor. She married Edward Mattingly on July 14, 1956 in Cincinnati, OH., and he survives of Bement, IL. Surviving is a daughter; Patricia Mattingly of Waukesha, WI., 2 grandchildren; Steven (Amy) Slomski of Hartland, WI., Jessica (Jason Updike) Slomski of Waukesha, WI., and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters; Jeanette Keith and Cathy Re. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Charles and Ray, and 2 sisters; Bonny and Wanda.

Agatha loved going to Curves in Monticello, IL., she loved gardening, canning and crafting.
