Holly R. Turner

Holly R. (Johnson) Turner, 54, of Bement, IL., passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 6:05 A.M., at her residence in Bement, IL. Holly was full of life and wanted to be celebrated as such. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at The Blarney Stone, Ivesdale, IL., beginning at 4:00 P.M.

Holly was born on November 24, 1970, in Monticello, IL., a daughter of Lloyd and Linda Binnion Johnson. Surviving is her father; Lloyd “Smokey” Johnson of Bement, long time boyfriend; Jeff Bonini of Bement, 4 children; Leslie (Curtis Barr) Pierce of Bement, Christopher Pierce of Decatur, IL., Zeb (Hillary) Turner of Bement, and Wyatt (Ally Shankel) Turner of Monticello. Surviving grandchildren are; Liam and Lennox Hayes of Bement, Nevaeh, Raine and Ava Lynn Pierce of Decatur, and Gwendolyn, Gabriella and Sutton Turner of Bement. Surviving siblings are; Lori (Greg Hall) Johnson of Florida, Christina Johnson of Missouri, and Troy (Nikki Cornish) Johnson of LaPlace, IL., as well as nieces and nephews; Heather, Justin, Nathan, Ali, Tyler and Kyle. She was preceded in death by her mother, and brother; Christopher Ray Johnson.

Holly lived in Bement Township most of her life working for Health Alliance and in the last 5 years, co-owning Bridget's Blarney Stone with Jeff. Holly and Jeff met and fell in love in Florida. They enjoyed riding the motorcycle. In Illinois, Holly and Jeff enjoyed their thriving business and their biggest pride and joy, their grandchildren.
