Lewis Tieman, Jr.

Lewis Tieman, Jr., 74, of Bement, IL., passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at his daughter's residence in Smithville, TN.

Celebration of Life Services will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Albert Parker American Legion Post #620, Bement, IL., followed by a graveside service at 2:15 P.M., at the Bement Township Cemetery. The Pastor Pat Tieman will officiate. Memorial contributions can be made to the Decatur Running Club, Decatur, Illinois.

Louie was born on April 2, 1951, in Monticello, IL., a son of Lewis and Wilma Cantrell Tieman, Sr. Surviving children include; Travis Tieman of Peotone, IL., Brian Tieman of Bement, IL., and Misty (Thomas) Van Pernis of Smithville, TN. Also surviving is a grandson; Collin Smith of Smithville, TN., and 2 sisters; Linda (Dan) Yantis of Findlay, IL., and Tish Cook of Bement. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister; Brenda Durbin.
