Michael G. “Mick” Gallivan, 86, of Monticello, IL., passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 12:42 A.M., at his residence in Monticello, IL.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Ivesdale, IL.

Mick was born on March 23, 1939, in Ivesdale, IL., a son of Gregory and Phyllis Tabaka Gallivan. He is survived by his life partner, Fran Dubson of Monticello, 2 step-grandchildren; Cory Joergens of Lawrenceville, IL., and Gerri Bernard of Brisbane, Australia, as well as a step-son-in-law; Steve Joergens of Arcola, IL. Preceded him in death was his parents, 6 brothers, a sister, and a step-daughter; Tina Joergens.

Mick was a member of the Monticello Golf Club and he loved playing golf.
