Patty was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Voorhees Home Extention, women's afternoon bowling league and couples bowling league on Sunday evenings, 1949 Bement homecoming queen and May Queen at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

She found greatest joy in spending time with her family. Family was the center of her life. As her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren participated in sporting events and music/band concerts, she was always there to show her support and unconditional love. She enjoyed her Sunday evening family gatherings ordering pizza from Mama T's and playing a competitive game of Uno where she always and a quiet way of dropping the Draw 4 card. She looked forward to going to Mass on Sunday mornings and out for Hardee's coffee and a biscuit. As she was growing up, her parents would take her out for a steak dinner of Saturday evenings, a tradition she carried out by grilling steak on Saturday nights and on her birthday to the Ribeye for a steak dinner. She was a big Notre Dame fan and rarely missed watching a game on TV. She also prepared many delicious meals during planting and harvest seasons and bringing food to the fields for the men to eat. There was always freshly baked cookies, pies and cakes to snack on. She loved her home and it was always beautifully decorated for every season.
