Peggy Lynn Grant

Peggy Lynn Grant, 59, of Bement, IL, passed away at 7:20 A.M. on Friday, July 17, 2026 at her residence in Bement, IL.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Hinds Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 348 N. Piatt St., Bement. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home. The Pastor Jeremiah Gregory will officiate. Memorial contributions can be made to the Peggy Lynn Grant Memorial Fund in care of Glenn Grant.

The family would like to ask you to take a moment for those who would like to, especially those who know their family, to light a candle this evening for Peggy Lynn Grants spirit, for she is now at peace and is in heaven. She has been battling cancer for several years and has fought harder than any person should ever have to.

She loved fiercely and was loved fiercely. She was her families best friend in the entire world. Her family was everything to her. She was outspoken and passionate and selfless. She passed away peacefully in her sleep and spent her last days surrounded by her loving family. Her spirit will live on through each one of us and we will continue to do right by her and make her proud. She will be missed more than words.

Peggy was born on July 22, 1966 in Gary, Indiana, a daughter of Harry and Patricia Ensign. She married Glenn Grant on July 26, 2002. Her surviving children include; Joseph Marshall, Victor Grant, and Cassie Grant. She has 9 grandchildren, and surviving siblings are; Larry and Mike Ensign. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters; Teri Ensign and Tina Lilly.
