Rick G. Bentley, 67, of Monticello, IL., passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at 3:09 A.M., at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M., on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Bement Township Cemetery, Bement. The Rev. Marsha Frederick will officiate. Following the graveside service there will be a celebration of Rick's life starting after 1:30 P.M. , at the Albert Parker American Legion Post #620. Memorial contributions can be made to the Albert Parker American Legion or the First Presbyterian Church of Bement.

Rick was born on May 9, 1956 in Monticello, IL., a son of Gene and JoAnn Fendley Bentley. He married Lori Miller on July 21, 2007 in Cerro Gordo, IL., and she survives of Monticello, IL. Surviving children are Hillary (Colby) Aggertt of Washington, IL., Michael (Andrea) Bentley of Milmine, IL., step sons, Ryan Koncel of Champaign, IL., and Adam (Lauren) Koncel of Bowie, MD., as well as 5 grandchildren. Other survivors include his mother, JoAnn Bentley of Bement, siblings, Vicky (Lynn) Larson, Julie (Troy) Price and John (Marie) Bentley all of Bement., as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
