Robert W. "Bill" Knowles, Jr.

Robert William Knowles, Jr., 51, of Gibson City, IL., passed away on , Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 8:41 P.M., at the Gibson Area Hospital, Gibson City, IL.

Fondly known as Bill, he was born to Robert and Nancy Farnsworth Knowles on June 8, 1971 in Germany. Bill is survived by the love of his life Tracy and three children, Andru Giddings (Cassandra Gonzalez), Aaron Knowles (Rachael Mirabella) and Jessi Knowles, as well as two grandchildren, Aiden and Rozlyn Knowles. In addition, Bill is survived by two sisters and a brother, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a niece, Tori Lanter.

Bill attended Bement High School in Bement, IL.. He was a over the road truck driver for 23 years and worked for Glick Trucking for the past 9 years. He would always joke around and call himself a “professional driver”. In his free time, Bill enjoyed football, watching WWE with his wife, trying to ride his Harley motorcycle and spending time with his grandchildren. He will always be loved and remembered as a loving Husband, Father and Pop Pop.

Bill's last hurrah for family and friends will be held at the Red Barn at Devine Acres at 12589 Pine Road, DeWitt, IL. 61735 on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 5:00 P.M.
