Rose L. Ganley, 94, of Ivesdale, IL., passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 6:19 P.M., at her residence in Ivesdale, IL.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ivesdale. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until time of services on Saturday at the church. Father Patrick O'Neal and Deacon Jim Brewer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Ivesdale Fire Department.
Rose was born on August 19, 1930 in Ivesdale, a daughter of Frank and Loretta Armstrong Robeck. She married Bernard Ganley on July 8, 1953 in Ivesdale, and he passed away on January 17, 1977. Surviving children are; Kate (Steve) Nelson of Monticello, IL., Janice (Keith) Standerfer of Anthem, AZ., Tom Ganley of Ivesdale, and Theresa Ganley of Ivesdale. Also surviving are grandchildren; Jamie, Brittney, Nic, April, Amber, Bernie and Rachael, great-grandchildren; Adrian, Riley, Mason, Nash, Cooper, Hank, Dylan, Abby, Zak, Dalton and Blake, and great-great-grandchildren; Corbyn, Saylor, Sophie, Asher and Blaklee. Surviving siblings are; Maurine Strack, and Mary Brewer. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 4 brothers; Francis, John, Edward and Joe Robeck.
Rose was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, and Illini Country Stitchers.
