Roy Riley, 77, of Bement, IL., passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 10:38 A.M., at his residence in Bement, IL.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 1:30 P.M., at the Bement Township Cemetery, Bement, IL. Pastor Pat Tieman will officiate. Memorial contributions can be made to Bement E.M.T.'s., or the Bement Fire Department.
Roy was born on March 4, 1948, in Glasgow, KY., a son of William and Elizabeth Blair Riley. He married Phyllis Cook on September 27, 1968, in Bement, IL. and she survives of Bement. Surviving are 2 daughters; Stephanie (Brian) Kincade of Atwood, TN., and Crystal Riley of Bement. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren; Caleb (Johanna) Riley, Keaton Wright and Paul Wright all of Bement as well as 2 great-grandchildren; Magdiline & Ruthie Riley. Surviving are 3 brothers; Terry (Gail) Riley of Horse Cave, KY., Jerry (Beverly) Riley of Bement, and Mark Alan (Lillie) Riley of Glasgow, KY., as well as a ½ brother; Cleo Chase of Radcliff, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, still born son; Stephen Roy Riley, 5 Sisters and 4 Brothers.
Roy was a volunteer for the Bement Fire Dept., he loved bowling, fishing, playing in a pool league, pig roasts at the Bement Ballpark., camping, and the family said he was just a social butterfly. His greatest love was being with family and friends.
