Services for Stephanie K. Shonkwiler

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a private family service for Stephanie Shonkwiler will be held at the Hinds Funeral Home, 348 N. Piatt St., Bement, on Sunday, April 26, 2020. A public procession will be held in accordance to social distancing. Family and friends are asked to gather at 2:00 P.M., on Sunday, April 26, 2020 in the Bement City Park and around adjacent streets and remain in their cars. Hinds funeral home staff will assist in lining up the procession and while taking precautions, be able to collect cards and memories you would like to share from your car window.

Once the private services have concluded the family will step to their cars and a procession will begin to the Allerton Park South gate. We ask that you proceed through the south gate and drive slowly around the Sun Singer circle drive where you can pay your respects to the family from the safety of your cars. We ask you to proceed at a slow pace as you acknowledge the family, then keep moving forward slowly and exit the park out of the south gate.

Feel free to decorate a sign or your car windows in support of Stephanie's family. The family appreciates your understanding and unique support during this difficult time. At a later date, as safety and precautions allow, a public memorial service will be held to honor Stephanie's life. Details will be announced at a later time.
