Tony Ryan Brittenham, 63, of Bement, IL, passed away at 1:58 A.M. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at his residence in Bement, IL, with his family by his side.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Bement Township Cemetery, Bement. The Pastor Steve Keagle will officiate.

Tony was born on September 11, 1963, in Champaign, IL., a son of Thomas and Gloria Varner Brittenham. Tony is survived by his mother, 2 sisters; Kelli Hunt of Bement, IL., and Kris Strouse of Monett, MO., and 2 brothers; Rusty Hewitt and Cole Brittenham, both of Pierce City, MO., as well as many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his son, Ted R. Brittenham II, his parents; Tom and Nita Brittenham and Gordon J. Gulliford, as well as his brothers; Todd Brittenham, Tommy Brittenham and Mike Gulliford.

Tony graduated from Bement High School. In his younger years, Tony enjoyed working for his father, driving the truck and running the routes for Brittenham Garbage Service. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, music, being outdoors, spending time in nature and going for drives throught the countryside, especially with his faithful companion and beloved dog Buck.
