Vicki J. Simmons

Vicki J. Simmons, 67, of Monticello, IL., passed away at 12:29 P.M., on Friday, February 21, 2025, at her residence in Monticello.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Lodge Church of God, Lodge, IL. The Pastor's Steve Keagle and Doug Winder will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of services on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Monticello Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Congenital Heart Defect Foundation.

Vicki was born on July 20, 1957, in Rantoul, IL., a daughter of Loren and Virginia Barlow Brian. She married Michael Simmons on December 23, 1987 in Monticello and he survives of Monticello. Surviving are 3 daughters; Beth (Jason) Lewis of Champaign, IL., Jennifer Adamson, and April Porter, both of Monticello, IL. Surviving grandchildren are; Sean Lewis, Bethany Strauss and Austin Adamson. Also surviving are brother; Larry Brian of Monticello, and 4 sisters; Edith (Jackie) Hall of Bement, Natha (Ed) Porter of Monticello, Wanda (Harold) Hall of Bement, and Sarah (Marc) Phillips of Columbus, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, and granddaughter; Sierra Adamson.

Vicki was a member of the Lodge Church of God, life member of the VFW Post #5520, she loved crafting, cooking, scrap booking, playing bingo, sewing plastic canvas, but her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
